Small Living Units (SLUs)
SLUs offer opportunities for 10 to 15 students interested in particular topics and issues to create a small community and live together in a themed house. Housing assignments in the SLUs are not available to first-year students, as these programs already will have selected their membership for the next year before first-year students arrive on campus. Typical SLUs include The Creative Arts House, The House of Black Culture, The House of HOPE (education), The House of Peace and Justice, The House of Thought, The International House, The Modern Foreign Languages House, The Tree House (environmentalism), and The Women's House.
