![]() Opening/Closing Information August Move In InformationReturning Student Early Arrival Request: Some students may have extenuating circumstances that necessitate a request to return to campus prior to the official opening of the residential facilities. Students can click the link to submit a request. The cost of moving in early is $20 per day and will be charged to your student account. May Closing InformationYear End Closing Information: This document gives specific details on all the information you need to properly check out of your current housing assignment including dates, procedures, and answers to your most frequently asked questions. An email will be sent to students in April 2012 which also highlights the time line and the process for moving out of the residence halls in May. Residential Storage Policy: This page outlines the specific criteria for students who need to store their personal belongings on campus during the summer months. Late Stay Request: Some students may have extenuating circumstances that necessitate a request to remain on campus after the facilities close. Students can click the link to submit a request, but each request must then be approved by your RLC / the Assistant Director of Residential Life. Once your request has been submitted, you are to contact your Residential Life Coordinator or Assistant Director of Residential Life to set up an appointment to discuss your request, as each request is considered on a case by case basis. If you are requesting to stay past Monday following Commencement, please note that you will be expected to move to our summer housing facility. Students who are requesting to remain on campus so that they can watch their friends graduate will not be granted permission to remain in their room; we are encouraging students to make alternative arrangements if they wish to watch commencement exercises. May Move Out Recycling/Donation Program - This list is representative of the type of items that can be donated to local groups. Collection locations are available in most residential areas. For more information, seek out a May Move Out representative (information posted in each building) or ask a Residential Life Staff Member to help you. Residence Hall Cleaning Agreement Form: All rooms must be cleaned up before a student can check out. Use this form to work with your roommates to divide up the cleaning responsibilities. SLU/House Cleaning Agreement: All SLUs/Houses must be cleaned up before students can check out. Use this form to work with your housemates to divide up the cleaning responsibilities. Residence Hall/SLU Damage Responsibility Form: All room/house damage must be assigned to the responsible resident or residents. Failure to accept or assign responsibility for damage will result in all residents equally splitting the cost of the repairs. Please complete this form and turn it in when you check out. |
