Applications

Although housing selection took place during the spring 2009 semester, the Residential Life Office will continue to accept applications until all students are housed for the 2009-2010 academic year.  If you have not yet completed a housing application, click on any of the links below for the common application.  You may mail or fax your application to the Residential Life Office.  Housing assignments made during the summer will be sent to you via your owu.edu email address. 

Austin Manor » Applicants must be in groups of two or four for full consideration. Applicants may have to complete an interview to be considered for Austin Manor. 

Single Rooms » Priority will be given to students with seniority.  Single rooms are available in Smith East, Stuyvesant and Welch Halls. 

Welch Hall » Applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average to apply. 

Wellness/Substance Free » This community is located in Smith Hall West. 

General Housing Selection » Students who have not already been assigned to a space in one of the above mentioned housing processes will be considered for general housing.  General housing is available in Hayes Hall (women only), Smith Hall East, and Stuyvesant Hall.  Reminder: OWU is a residential campus and students are required to live on campus.

If you applied for the off campus lottery and are currently on the alternate list, check your owu.edu email during the summer for important updates.  It is not advisable to sign a lease for an off campus apartment until or unless you have officially been released from the residency requirement.
